...He let's the storm rage...

"sometimes God calms the storm,
sometimes He lets the storm rage
and calms
His child"

last night.
took us from temps in the high 80's.
to temps in the low 60's.
the meshing together of these two temps.
resulted in lightening.
thunder.
 hail.
rain.
high, high winds.
probably the most scared i've been in a storm.
in a very long time.
the flower above.
a reminder.
of how lucky we were.
that it was the only casualty.
just BE.
robin.

We had it here also. This afternoon, the temperatures went from 97 to 61 in a matter of 90 minutes. It was a bad one, but everyone here is okay, and I am glad you are okay too!

Lovely photo. As I sit here blogging, the tormado sirens are on, the wind is gusting up to 50 miles an hour, torrential rain is pounding on the roof, and hail is coming down just a few miles away--just another evening in Kansas!!! We have certainly had "weather" this Spring!! Have a nice weekend. Mickie :)

oh Robin, what we get here then moves on you way. for the last three days it was highs 97 degrees and evening the front came through bringing us the wind, thunder and lightening, and strong rains. it didn't last long, but today the high was only 48 degrees. what a ride. your Gerbera is lovely and calming. thanks for sharing, and I hope your weekend is peaceful and still.
